Our friends at the Berlin-based art magazine Lodown published our new DJ mix ‘Quixotic Exotic’ yesterday which we recorded live at our flat on Sunday. It’s mostly post-disco bangers, with loads of African percussions & vox, synths, wave stuff by the likes of Marvin & Guy, Bawrut, Aurum Miles, KIWI and many more. We finally found the time to record a new hour-long mix for your listening pleasure. After being asked by – No Strings Attached – one of our most favourite mix & party series which is run by Steve Cass & Justin Wilson since 1995 out of Edinburgh we went straight to select the tracks and recorded the mix live in real-time. It includes mostly demos & promos by befriended artists such as Ujin Ray, Khidja, The Gemini Brothers, Autarkic, The Rattler Proxy and many more.
